Introduction

The UTEP-BC Salvage program is targeted towards accessions from the general public. The salvage program must be supported by appropriate permits maintained by faculty curators. Before accepting salvage, permits should be checked to make sure that salvage is acceptable. Check Arctos for permits under appropriate curators. The program applies to vertebrates. Plant and insect donations generally  go through another workflow.
